The main body of the dissovable bridge plug is made of lightweight and high-strength dissovablealloy material with high strength, pressure resistance of 70 MPa, dissovablein water, and controllable dissolution time. After fracturing, the dissovable bridge plug reacts with the fluid in the wellbore under high temperature and high pressure, dissolves and is discharged from the wellbore with the drainage fluid. The invention of this tool is a complete reversal of the traditional bridge plug fracturing tool.
The cost of dissolvable bridge plugs is basically the same as that of imported composite bridge plugs, but the follow-up process of traditional bridge plugs is long and expensive, while the use of dissolvable bridge plugs can significantly reduce the post-construction costs of fracturing operations. Dissolvable bridge plugs can minimise the possibility of seating in the middle of a fracturing operation, and even if the bridge plug is jammed, it can be dissolved through rapid treatment technology, thus reducing the risk of overhauling the bridge plug.
